The position (so close to Faragas beach), the house, the pool and that incredible kakti garden, beautiful like a painting from a distant, exotic world. The rooms are big, comfortable and furnished with great taste, and each one has it’s private bathroom. We have passed unforgettable summer vacations at the House of Kakti. Nothing less than a DREAM. With rooms and private bathrooms beautifully decorated, modern, functional yet with that wonderful Greek essence. Very luxurious and SO relaxing. All set up on a spectacular cactus filled rise which leads directly down by a 5-minute walk right to a fabulous beach. A perfect kitchen and a central, large living area fully equipped with separate conversational and tv areas. Outdoors is paradise with a pristine swimming pool overlooking the cactus garden and sea, as well as by sitting areas and gazebo for aperitifs at sundown. The beach is furnished with a fantastic restaurant and bar and a charming beach club. The water is amazing! Fresh and crystal clear, with endless swimming directions. The outdoor dining area covered for shade, but which allows for just the right amount of the sky’s light to penetrate the spacious table is a joy. The staff are FANTASTIC and discreet. The peace, comfort, natural and friendly atmosphere is absolutely priceless.
We have stayed at the House of Kakti on 3 occasions and eagerly look forward to the next time! This amazing villa is well located near villages with excellent Tavernas and only steps away from a full-service beach club as well as beaches where you can be alone.
The beautiful villa is wonderfully equipped with everything needed for maximum comfort and convenience. The cactus gardens are nothing short of amazing with several pavilions, a refreshing pool large enough to swim laps and even a putting green! The owner has thought of everything!

I stayed at villa Kakti in 2018 and again this year. The house is truly a joy to stay in. Spacious and light, with a lovely pool surrounded by impressive cacti, you feel immediately welcomed into a tranquil world where you can truly relax. The staff are charming and cook wonderful local dishes, so you can enjoy Greek cuisine without stepping outside, and believe me you won’ t want to. Definitely one of the top houses on the island.
We just returned from the most amazing and relaxing week at House of Kakti. We were two families and the house worked perfectly because there are plenty of comfortable and well-appointed bedrooms and each has their own bathroom. The house is incredibly private and peaceful, with lovely gardens and a wonderful pool, and the beautiful beach of Farangas is just a short walk down a path. Everything from the kitchen to the bathrooms is very clean and well maintained and the cleaning staff was very nice and attentive. Besides lounging in the sun and swimming, all the adults and teenagers really loved the many excursions we did on Paros like visiting some of the famous beaches, shopping in Naoussa and Parikia and taking the short ferry trip to Antiparos for sunset drinks and dinner. We can’t say enough great things about our week at House of Kakti.
